Kitchen Utility Lead

The Kitchen Utility Lead role is onsite at Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN, with pay of $16.50–$17.50 per hour. The position supports the campus food-service department and its daily operations. The lead assists supervisors and department directors by assigning and supporting team work, maintaining quality standards, and helping ensure daily schedules are completed. The role also supports customer service, equipment monitoring, and shift coverage when needed.

What you'll do

• Assist shift supervisors and department directors with daily department functions
• provide assignments and assistance to team members
• demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment
• relieve the shift supervisor when absent
• adjust or cover schedules during short staffing
• conduct quality assurance surveys
• monitor and report equipment issues or shortages
• conduct customer and patient surveys
• interact appropriately with customers and patients.
