The Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor - Swing Shift is an onsite role based in Seattle, WA, with a pay rate of $37.78 to $41.72 per hour. DESC is a social services organization and behavioral health provider focused on meeting the needs of people experiencing homelessness. This role exists to provide stabilization services to clients experiencing behavioral health crises. The counselor facilitates group and individual counseling and ensures services are integrated with mental health and primary care teams.

What you'll do

• Perform alcohol and drug use assessments, develop client-driven treatment plans, and facilitate treatment groups.
• Provide substance use consultations, maintain clinical records, and collaborate with community partners to ensure continuity of care.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience

Licensed by the State of Washington as a Substance Use Disorder Professional.
