The Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Respite role is onsite in Valparaiso, IN, with compensation of $18.50 per hour. What you'll do

• Implement Individual Prescriptive Plans and Behavior Support Plans
• initiate instructional and recreational activities in community settings
• attend required training and meetings
• support client satisfaction
• transfer clients with or without mechanical lifts
• teach and model social and interpersonal behaviors
• maintain required participant documentation
• assist with personal grooming and daily care
• may provide medical care, which may include catheterization
• complete assigned housekeeping
• support daily schedules and medication policy compliance
• transport clients to activities and appointments as needed
• work across locations and with different clients and staff.
