What you'll do

• Monitor post-operative patients’ recovery and consciousness and update the treatment team
• treat pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms and administer prescribed medication
• check vital signs
• keep bandages and dressings clean, dry, and safe
• educate patients and families about post-surgery care
• update charts, patient files, and medical records.
