What you'll do

• Lead assigned electrical and controls projects from concept through design, testing, commissioning, and implementation
• develop electrical and controls concepts from project requirements
• design power distribution and control systems
• develop system architecture involving PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, safety systems, and industrial networks
• select components and create panel layouts and CAD documentation
• develop and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs
• review designs and documentation
• develop testing and quality-control procedures
• support system testing, commissioning, and verification
• communicate project status and manage priorities
• support team training
• travel to customer and field-service locations as needed.
