What you'll do

• Determine project scope with the preconstruction team
• interpret plans and specifications and identify discrepancies
• maintain cost-estimating and subcontractor/supplier databases
• prepare construction cost estimates and bids
• solicit subcontractor and supplier bids
• support contract preparation and negotiation
• develop project schedules and related cost estimates
• prepare proposals and respond to RFQs or RFPs
• develop conceptual estimates from incomplete information.
