What you'll do

• Greet patients and visitors and handle incoming calls
• schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
• make reminder calls and communicate visit preparation instructions
• coordinate scheduling with providers, medical assistants, and nursing staff
• verify demographics, insurance, and registration data
• prepare and update patient records in electronic systems
• track filled and cancelled appointments
• record patient payments when applicable
• follow safety, infection-control, privacy, and HIPAA-related procedures.
