What you'll do

• Observe traffic and report violations to police officers
• monitor school-area behavior for safety concerns
• operate flashing caution lights and set out cones
• direct traffic and instruct children on safety procedures
• maintain crossing equipment and request supplies
• submit accurate time sheets
• and communicate with public safety and emergency response personnel. Work takes place during morning and after-school hours while school is in session.
