The Cook role is onsite in Nassawadox, VA, paying $16–$18 per hour. Nassawadox Rehabilitation and Nursing provides resident-focused rehabilitation and nursing care. Accurate preparation, portioning, and service help support residents’ dietary needs and the facility’s meal schedule.

What you'll do

• Prepare resident meals in quantities based on menus and the number of people served
• follow cooking methods and temperatures
• clean work areas and equipment to sanitation standards
• check food quality and appearance
• serve meals according to dietary guidelines and verify tray accuracy
• monitor portions
• prepare food for facility personnel, families, visitors, and events as directed.
