Mid-Shift Line Cook

The Mid-Shift Line Cook role is onsite in Traverse City, MI. Pay is $20–$23 per hour. The cook supports West End Tavern’s kitchen and restaurant service. The role prepares and cooks menu items, maintains quality and portion standards, and keeps the station clean and stocked. It contributes to accurate, timely food service and supports kitchen operations during the shift.

What you'll do

• Prepare and portion meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items
• cook using kitchen equipment
• plate and garnish dishes
• maintain product levels at line stations
• follow recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
• store and rotate products
• maintain a clean and sanitary station
• assist with prep and dishwashing
• follow kitchen closing checklists.

Why this role
