Construction Materials Testing Engineering Technician

What you'll do

• Perform field testing of soil, asphalt, and concrete under senior engineering staff direction
• prepare field reports with test results, observations, and recommendations
• review project plans and specifications before construction
• conduct basic soil and concrete laboratory tests and report results
• maintain testing equipment
• maintain certifications as determined by senior engineering staff
• assist with geotechnical investigations
• evaluate construction site conditions and provide recommendations with senior staff input
• communicate with clients, contractors, and engineering and technician staff.
