What you'll do

• Inspect, repair, test, adjust, and remove sprinkler systems
• cut, thread, and hang pipe
• install and rebuild fire pumps
• install valves, couplings, and fittings
• interpret drawings and specifications
• connect piping to water mains, tanks, pumps, and control equipment
• test systems for leaks
• direct a helper’s day-to-day work
• document work performed.
