Senior Payroll Specialist — ADP, Payroll Tax and Client Services

The Senior Payroll Specialist role is remote day-to-day, with occasional onsite work in the Miami/Hialeah area if needed; applicants must live in South Florida within a two- to three-hour drive of Miami. The specialist manages payroll processing and complex payroll tax and compliance issues for multiple client accounts. The role investigates discrepancies, reconciles payroll liabilities, supports reporting and onboarding, and communicates directly with clients and relevant agencies until issues are resolved.

What you'll do

• Process, review, and audit multiple client payrolls using ADP
• research and resolve discrepancies and complex client questions
• troubleshoot payroll, tax, withholding, deduction, and configuration issues
• handle federal, state, and local payroll tax matters and assist with IRS and state notices
• work with Forms 941, 940, W-2/W-3, and 941-X corrections
• reconcile liabilities, tax deposits, deductions, and contributions
• support garnishments, levies, child support orders, multi-state payroll, and quarter- and year-end reconciliations
• assist with new-client onboarding and ADP setup
• communicate with clients, ADP support, and government agencies
• maintain ownership of payroll issues through resolution. Hands-on ADP experience and 4+ years of payroll experience are required.
