Podiatrist — Outpatient Travel Assignment

What you'll do

• Provide comprehensive diabetic foot care for patients with approved referrals, including routine exams, debridement, and treatment of infections or ulcerations
• diagnose and treat peripheral neuropathy and diabetic-related gait abnormalities
• prescribe orthotics and diabetic shoes when medically necessary and approved
• perform fittings and measurements and provide follow-up adjustments
• submit durable medical equipment prescriptions to the Health Service Unit
• and maintain compliant patient records in the EHR.

Why this role

Four-month assignment; one week of initial orientation, followed by one 8-hour day per month from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. The first training week is five business days, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. NPI and any-state podiatrist license required.
