The aide prepares meals under a dietary manager’s or cook’s guidance and maintains clean, sanitary dining and kitchen areas. The role supports residents’ meal service through food preparation, cleanup, inventory monitoring, and adherence to food-safety and infection-control procedures.

What you'll do

• Set up tables and dining areas
• prepare meals under the guidance of a dietary manager or cook
• follow sanitation and safety procedures
• clear dining areas and collect plates and utensils
• dispose of leftovers and remove garbage
• clean food stations and wash dishes, cookware, and silverware
• monitor ingredient stock and maintain inventory
• help maintain kitchen equipment
• work cooperatively with dietary and kitchen staff.
