The Senior Buyer role is an onsite, full-time position in Muskego, WI. Compensation is $75,001–$90,000 per year. The role supports Jackson’s Food Company, whose mission is to deliver a safe, quality snack product. The Senior Buyer leads procurement to ensure production and business operations have reliable, cost-effective access to materials. By managing supplier relationships, forecasts, inventory risks, negotiations, and purchasing processes, the role helps maintain material availability and support production requirements and customer demand.

What you'll do

• Lead procurement for raw materials, packaging, production supplies, PPE, office supplies, and other operational materials
• oversee selected raw-material contracts
• partner with supply chain planning and operations on purchasing strategies
• analyze demand, usage, inventory, production needs, and supplier lead times
• provide supplier forecasts
• address shortages, excess or obsolete inventory, and supply risks
• negotiate commercial terms
• evaluate supplier performance and sourcing options
• partner with Quality and Operations on material or quality concerns
• manage shelf life
• work with Finance on cost reporting and budgets
• improve ERP functionality and procurement processes
• and coach purchasing team members.

Why this role
