What you'll do
- Set up and operate CNC horizontal boring mills
- write and edit programs at the control and prove out new programs
- interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
- fixture large workpieces
- select tooling and adjust offsets, speeds, and feeds
- inspect parts against tolerances
- troubleshoot machining issues
- perform routine maintenance
- and work with engineering and quality to resolve print or part issues.
