The Fire Alarm Installer role is onsite in Arvada, CO, working on commercial construction and service projects throughout Colorado. Pay is $22–$30 per hour, based on experience. Piper Electric's low-voltage and life safety team installs and services commercial fire alarm systems. The installer puts fire alarm systems into service and helps ensure they meet project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes. The role contributes to building life safety through installation, testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and customer support.

What you'll do

• Install, program, and maintain alarm systems in commercial and governmental buildings
• read blueprints and schematics to determine system layout
• install conduit and devices, pull and terminate cable, and assist with system startup
• test, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems
• provide technical support to customers
• follow applicable codes and project specifications.
