Senior Licensed Healthcare Project Architect

Job overview

The Senior Licensed Healthcare Project Architect role is onsite in Charlotte, NC, with pay of $120,000–$180,000 per year. The office environment offers flexibility, and travel may be up to 20% depending on the project. The role supports healthcare architectural projects from design through construction. The architect leads project teams and design documentation, coordinates consultants and stakeholders, and works to carry design intent through construction. The position also guides junior designers and mentors junior staff while coordinating across disciplines and project phases.

What you'll do

• Lead project teams and design/documentation
• consult with clients and stakeholders on project requirements
• research and interpret building codes, zoning regulations, and standards
• develop design concepts, technical information, material selections, specifications, and preliminary cost estimates
• integrate engineering elements into project layouts
• prepare scale drawings and contract documents
• monitor discipline work plans
• use computer-assisted design software
• attend project meetings and communicate project information
• direct junior designers
• coordinate across disciplines
• document existing conditions
• mentor junior staff.
