The Job Coach role is onsite in Silver Spring, MD. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour, with benefits. SEEC is a nonprofit providing community supports for people with developmental disabilities; this role is part of its Employment Service Department. The coach helps individuals pursue and retain meaningful employment by providing person-centered training and ongoing support at job sites. Coordination with individuals, families, employers, and the Employment Services team helps align work opportunities with each person’s goals and support needs.

What you'll do

• Develop customized employment opportunities and task analyses
• establish natural supports and accommodations
• provide ongoing support and supervision at job sites
• coordinate transportation
• train individuals on work duties and assess job fit
• communicate progress and concerns with families and employers
• implement individual plans and behavioral plans
• document contacts and progress
• coordinate with Employment Services staff.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. A valid driver’s license and ability to drive around Montgomery County are strongly preferred.
