The Maintenance Technician II — Manufacturing Facilities role is onsite in Aurora, IL, working second shift Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Compensation is $25–$28.50 per hour, including all benefits. The role supports maintenance and facility services at AMETEK facilities. The technician maintains and repairs manufacturing equipment and facility systems, responds to equipment issues, and recommends improvements to performance, safety, energy management, and facility operations. The work supports production continuity and ongoing improvements in cost, quality, and delivery.

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled preventive inspections and maintenance on facilities and machines
• repair HVAC, compressed air, and manufacturing equipment
• install equipment and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services
• maintain equipment service records
• coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues
• train new associates in maintenance and facility services
• perform local deliveries as needed.

Why this role

Requires a high school degree or equivalent, at least five years of related maintenance or construction experience and/or training, a valid driver’s license, and ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to meet facility needs outside normal hours is required.
