The Financial Advisor role is in office in Sioux City, IA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Starting pay is $20.29 per hour. Rosecrance provides behavioral health services and supports individuals and families working through substance use and mental health challenges. The role manages client business accounts and helps clients and families understand treatment funding options. By coordinating insurance verification, authorizations, payments, and financial documentation, the position supports access to care and the agency’s fiscal processes.

What you'll do

• Process third-party insurance for patients, including benefit determination and verification, financial interviews, and follow-up on financial commitments
• conduct individual benefit negotiations with supervisor guidance
• communicate client financial information and funding classifications to staff
• register new and returning clients and complete EHR documentation
• verify Medicaid, Medicare, and other coverage and update eligibility and authorizations
• assist with Medicaid and Patient Assistance applications
• coordinate and document payments
• maintain funding records
• complete insurance authorization requests and enter authorizations in the EHR
• prepare fiscal-management reports
• comply with the corporate compliance program and code of conduct.
