The Class A Commercial Driver – Foodservice Delivery role is onsite and dispatches from the Champlain, NY yard. Pay starts at $31.19 per hour and increases to $36.71 per hour after successful training. US Foods is a food distributor whose drivers deliver products to customers and build customer relationships. The driver safely transports and delivers products, unloads orders into designated customer storage areas, verifies deliveries, handles payments when applicable, and completes vehicle inspections. Routes operate Monday through Saturday, with dispatch between 3:00 AM and 7:00 AM until completion; drivers are home nightly.

What you'll do

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
• unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand
• place products in designated storage areas
• verify delivery accuracy and obtain signatures
• handle customer collections and payments when applicable
• perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
