Program Lead — Early Care and Education

The Program Lead — Early Care and Education is an onsite, full-time role in Davis, CA, with a Monday–Friday, eight-hour schedule between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The role oversees program quality and staffing at a single Catalyst Family Inc. licensed childcare center serving school-age and/or infant and toddler children. The Program Lead ensures children receive safe, high-quality care and learning experiences while coaching and supporting teaching staff. The role connects classroom practice, family and community partnerships, licensing compliance, staffing, and center operations to the agency's program and people-management goals.

What you'll do

• Oversee planning, implementation, assessment, and program requirements
• assess program quality, curriculum implementation, health and safety, and licensing standards
• coach, mentor, observe, and provide feedback to teaching staff
• manage a team of two to five staff
• support family and community partnerships
• ensure compliance with agency policies and licensing requirements
• help forecast staffing needs, maintain schedules, support hiring, and sustain enrollment and attendance
• work in classroom ratio approximately 33% of the time, depending on center needs.
