PRN Registered Nurse

The PRN Registered Nurse role is onsite in Caldwell, ID. Pay is $41 per hour. All Ways Caring HomeCare's nursing group focuses on compassionate care and meeting clients' needs in a variety of settings. The nurse coordinates medical needs, monitors and administers medications, assesses clients, and supports care plans and rehabilitation activities. The role contributes to client health and independence through ongoing assessment, communication with physicians and staff, and documentation of care.

What you'll do

• Attend and participate in weekly team meetings
• provide rehabilitation and coordinate clients' medical needs
• monitor and administer oral and injectable medications
• order, review, monitor, and discontinue medications as ordered by a physician
• conduct assessments and approve plans of care and service delivery methods
• evaluate direct-care employees' competencies and skills
• report changes in clients' medical or mental condition
• write progress notes, summaries, and discharges
• implement treatment and rehabilitative activities
• report significant incidents and possible health hazards
• follow consumer health plans and promote choice and independence
• help maintain nursing, pharmacy, infection-control, and health-and-safety policies.
