Behavioral Health Technician — Overnight

Job overview

Behavioral Health Technician is an onsite, part-time overnight role in Los Angeles, CA, with a stated schedule of 10 p.m.–6 a.m. Compensation is $19–$22 per hour. The role provides direct care in a residential treatment setting. The technician follows each client’s program plan, implements behavior-support techniques, documents progress and incidents, and supports clients’ safety and daily routines as part of the facility’s care team.

What you'll do

• Learn and follow each client’s program plan
• implement behavior modification techniques
• document incidents, progress notes, and data frequency counts
• attend staff meetings and in-service training
• provide basic prescribed medical treatment and administer medication as directed
• communicate with staff
• assist with meal preparation and housekeeping as assigned
• participate in recreation activities
• maintain a clean and safe facility
• report possible violations of client rights.
