What you'll do

• Analyze blueprints and documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Assess cost-effectiveness of products and projects.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and foremen to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
• Conduct special studies for cost reduction.
• Review material and labor requirements.
• Prepare estimates for vendor selection.
• Input costs for proposals.
