The Certified Medical Assistant role is onsite in Longview, TX. Compensation is not specified. East Texas Ear, Nose, & Throat is hiring for a busy practice where the CMA will work as a scribe for providers and gain experience in ENT and Sleep Medicine. The CMA supports patient visits and provider workflows by rooming patients, obtaining vitals and histories, documenting encounters, coordinating orders and referrals, and assisting with office surgeries. The role also helps maintain clean exam rooms and instruments.

What you'll do

• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain or verify vitals and histories
• record chief complaints
• accompany providers and document patient encounters
• send referrals, prescriptions, lab, imaging, and surgery orders
• obtain imaging and medication prior authorizations
• assist providers with office surgeries and prepare instrument trays
• maintain clean exam rooms and instruments.
