What you'll do

• Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out
• schedule appointments and follow-ups
• maintain patient demographics
• verify insurance and explain coverage
• collect balances and copays
• submit claims through Athena EMR
• handle prior authorizations
• communicate with payers
• post charges and payments
• follow up on unpaid or denied claims
• answer calls and emails
• coordinate with clinic staff
• maintain accurate patient documentation.
