Technical Sales Specialist

The Technical Sales Specialist role is onsite in Carlsbad, NM, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and some overtime. Base salary is $65,000–$85,000 per year, based on experience, with a monthly incentive opportunity. Valve Sales, Inc. provides engineered valve solutions and service to oil and gas customers. The role supports customers and account managers through technical inside sales, field-team coordination, inventory control, and facility support. It helps customers select and troubleshoot valve products while supporting quotes, orders, service work, and repeat business.

What you'll do

• Respond to customer inquiries
• advise on valve selection, specifications, and applications
• prepare and follow up on quotes and orders
• coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, purchasing, inventory, and field service
• troubleshoot customer issues
• support account management and identify upsell opportunities
• maintain product knowledge
• process warehouse transactions and inventory records
• maintain facility cleanliness and stage field projects.
