The engineer prepares customer designs for inductors and other magnetic devices and develops tools and reference information to support accurate, timely design work. The role also supports production teams and new product transfers from engineering to manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Respond to customer design inquiries
• maintain and improve inductor design software and develop new tools
• prepare internal RFQs and review and mark up part prints
• support production teams in the US and China
• use electrical test equipment
• support sourcing of materials and components
• transfer new products to the factory floor by developing procedures, checklists, and test specifications and training manufacturing personnel.
