By repairing dies, documenting tooling, and improving tooling and processes, the Die Maker helps maintain production uptime, tight tolerances, and product quality.

What you'll do

• Build and repair progressive and single-station production dies
• develop, maintain, and improve jigs and fixtures
• produce tooling layouts, detailed drawings, and final assembly documentation
• sharpen and service dies to maintain tight tolerances and uptime
• lead continuous improvement initiatives across tooling, products, and processes
• operate manual and jig grinders, a 2–4 axis CNC lathe, and a manual vertical mill.
