Athletics Program Assistant

Job overview

The Athletics Program Assistant role is onsite in ‘Ewa Beach, HI, with compensation of $17–$19 per hour. The position supports athletics programming at the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center (Kroc Center Hawaii) and represents The Salvation Army’s mission and values in the community. The assistant helps plan, coordinate, and deliver programs and activities while supporting staff, coaches, volunteers, and participants. Accurate records, safe activities, and responsive communication with families help the center deliver its athletics programming.

What you'll do

• Support planning, coordination, and delivery of athletics programs
• collaborate with coaches and instructors on curriculum and program delivery
• assist gym attendants, coaches, and volunteers with mission and policy alignment
• help organize staff training and screenings
• coordinate logistics with vendors and instructors
• maintain registration, attendance, waiver, and staff records
• assist with inventory and supplies
• communicate with parents about injuries, behavior, scheduling, and concerns
• support safe educational field trips
• participate in meetings and follow fleet procedures.
