The Store Manager in Training - York is an onsite role based in York, PA. Compensation is not specified, and this position supports the GNC retail team. This role exists as a development-focused position to prepare an individual to manage their own store. Under the leadership of a Store Manager or District Manager, the trainee learns the skills and knowledge needed to successfully operate a store, drive results, and lead a team.

What you'll do

• Responsible for actively engaging with your leader in training initiatives, projects, and goals to support you on your path to promotion during the program.
• Responsible for supporting the total shopping experience, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and the customer relationship that leads to sales and repeat business.
• Ability to achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals, while helping sales associates to realize their sales potential.
• Ability to build strong teams, demonstrate leadership, and managerial skills, such as giving feedback to store associates regarding work performance on an on-going basis, recruiting, hiring, and performance management.
• Opening, closing and operating the retail facility.
• Including, but not limited to cash handling, inventory count and deposits according to GNC procedures.
• Attending community fairs, conferences, meetings, and other public gatherings to promote the organization's mission and initiatives.
