Crystal Growth Operator, Graveyard Shift

The Crystal Growth Operator role is onsite in Saint George, UT, on a 12-hour graveyard shift. Pay is $23 per hour. 5N Plus Semiconductors produces materials used in applications including satellites, medical imaging, and infrared vision. The operator grows and inspects germanium and indium antimonide crystals for semiconductor applications, following production procedures and quality guidelines. The work supports consistent crystal production through material preparation, process monitoring, equipment maintenance, testing, and coordination with the Crystal Machining team.

What you'll do

• Prepare materials and the puller for crystal-growth runs
• execute and monitor crystal-pull processes
• log process information
• perform puller preventive maintenance
• inspect crystals against specifications and assess physical and electrical properties
• recycle trimmings and raw crystals as required
• coordinate with the Crystal Machining team
• follow SOP and QMS guidelines.
