What you'll do

• Prepare patients for procedures and assist physicians during endoscopy
• handle specimens and complete laboratory slips as requested
• report observed patient changes to nursing staff
• restock supplies
• prepare the endoscopy suite and equipment
• clean and disinfect or sterilize instruments and supplies according to instructions and policy
• clean the suite between cases
• maintain inventory
• participate in quality and safety programs.
