What you'll do

• Monitor pool activity and identify safety issues
• supervise swimming activities and enforce pool rules
• respond to emergencies and rescue swimmers
• administer first aid and CPR or artificial respiration when necessary
• inspect pool facilities, equipment, and water
• assist with pool chemical testing
• oversee lifeguard staff and create daily rotations
• conduct swimming lessons as needed under manager direction
• document and report incidents.
