Electrical Operations Manager

Job overview

The Electrical Operations Manager role is based in Chantilly, VA, with a combination of office and field work and regular travel to project sites and customer facilities. Compensation is $150,000–$180,000. Compu Dynamics designs, constructs, and maintains mission-critical data centers. The manager oversees daily operations of the Electrical Install Division, ensuring projects are safe, properly staffed, on schedule, and financially controlled. The role supports reliable project delivery through technical oversight, compliance, workforce planning, quality control, and team leadership.

What you'll do

• Oversee safe, effective, on-schedule installation work
• review electrical blueprints and develop conceptual estimates
• ensure utility locating, quality inspections, OSHA and NEC compliance
• manage schedules, staffing, and field leadership
• visit sites and customers
• oversee commissioning, closeout, documentation, billing, and change management
• recruit, train, and supervise personnel
• manage budgets and manpower utilization.
