Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician

The Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician role is onsite in Derwood, MD; compensation is hourly and negotiable based on experience. Guardian Fire Protection Services provides fire protection, life safety, and security solutions, and this position supports its Fire Sprinkler Department. The technician services, inspects, and repairs customer sprinkler systems, including emergency troubleshooting, code issue identification, testing, and reporting, helping protect lives and property.

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled service, inspections, and repairs of fire sprinkler systems
• respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot systems
• identify code and non-conformance issues
• apply NFPA 25 during testing and inspections
• prepare service tickets and reports
• explain work and necessary repairs to customers
• perform fire pump flow tests when applicable.
