Paint and Stain Finisher

Job overview

The Paint and Stain Finisher works onsite in Florence, AL, for $17.50–$19.00 per hour. The role supports Premier Mantels, Renovation Brands’ custom mantel shop, producing finished mantels, shelves, and related millwork. This position prepares wood and MDF components, applies and matches finishes, and checks completed work for quality so products meet client specifications and production standards.

What you'll do

• Prepare mantel parts and assemblies by sanding, filling, and sealing
• apply paint, stain, dye, glaze, and clear coats with spray equipment
• match samples and client specifications
• inspect for defects and consistency
• perform touch-ups and repairs
• mix finishes and maintain formulas and records
• maintain the finishing area and follow safety procedures.
