Classroom Behavior Specialist – Per Diem

The Classroom Behavior Specialist – Per Diem role is onsite in Portsmouth, RI, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 3–5 days per week, 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Compensation is $20 per hour. The role supports students at The Bradley School in collaboration with the behavioral coordinator and classroom team. The specialist helps implement academic, behavioral, and social-emotional programming aligned with students’ IEPs. The role supports student progress through individual or small-group work and assists teachers with classroom programming and progress reporting.

What you'll do

• Work one-to-one with students or in small groups
• assess behavioral and social-emotional needs
• identify factors affecting academic progress
• stay current on student behavior plans
• implement programming consistent with IEPs
• assist with functional skills and activities of daily living
• support IEP progress reports and report cards
• attend assigned meetings and supervisory sessions.
