Research Technician — Plant and Seed Production

The Research Technician role is onsite in Durham, NC, at Research Triangle Park. Compensation is not specified. The six-month position supports plant and seed production research for commercial crops such as soybean and maize in greenhouse and growth-chamber facilities.

What you'll do

• Care for plants through watering, fertilizing, scouting, and maintenance
• plant, sample, transplant, and pollinate
• monitor plant growth and performance and maintain records
• support environmental monitoring and basic troubleshooting in greenhouses and growth chambers
• follow regulatory, stewardship, HSE, and safety requirements
• collaborate with research teams on experimental plans and timelines. Occasional or supplemental weekend and holiday coverage may be needed for critical operations.

Why this role
