Patient Access Representative

What you'll do

• Welcome patients and visitors in person and by phone
• verify and update demographics, insurance, and registration information in the EHR
• schedule appointments
• verify insurance and service eligibility
• explain co-payments, sliding-fee discounts, and financial obligations
• collect and document payments
• direct inquiries
• protect patient-record privacy
• collaborate with clinical and billing teams
• participate in access and quality-improvement projects.
