This role exists to modernize the AN/SQQ-89(V) ASW Training System by transitioning hardware-based solutions to a scalable, virtualized Linux training platform. The engineer will focus on portability, scalability, and maintainability of training environments.
What you'll do
- Design, deploy, and maintain virtualized environments using KVM, libvirt, and Open vSwitch.
- Develop automated deployment solutions using Ansible and Python scripts.
- Build and maintain RHEL system images.
- Support cybersecurity compliance activities including STIG implementation and RMF.
