Outside Plant Field Engineer

Job overview

What you'll do

• Identify, photograph, and document outside-plant facilities
• measure attachment heights, spans, and distances to property and curb lines
• identify power and communications facilities and ownership
• record bonding, grounding, guying, and anchor information
• deliver field notes and photographs to engineering teams
• identify obstructions and propose mitigation
• read GIS maps, conduit records, and layout drawings
• use field measurement and GPS tools and electronic devices
• follow applicable safety standards.
