Assistant Director of Training

The Assistant Director of Training role is onsite in Overland Park, KS. Compensation is $27–$33 per hour. The role supports BridgeFit’s coaching team at a personal training gym serving adults 40+. This position helps the Director of Training develop coaches while also coaching members. It supports member onboarding and individualized strength training plans, helping the gym maintain detailed, responsive coaching as it grows.

What you'll do

• Help the Director of Training support and develop the coaching team
• conduct consultations with new members
• coach small-group and one-on-one strength training for adults 40+
• lead introductory sessions and flexibility assessments
• build and update member plans as goals and physical concerns change.

Why this role

Full-time schedule described as 35–40 hours per week, five days weekly, with paid preparation, programming, and meeting time; same schedule each week with no doubles, split shifts, or last-minute changes. Required certifications include NASM, ACE, ISSA, or similar, plus CPR/AED. Consultation or sales experience is preferred but not required.
