Industrial Painter, 3rd Shift

The Industrial Painter role is onsite in Davenport, IA, Monday through Friday from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour, with an additional third-shift differential. The painter supports Oertel Metal Works’ finishing team and its custom metal fabrication work. The painter prepares and coats fabricated metal products to customer specifications and quality standards. Surface preparation, coating application, touch-ups, and packaging help ensure finished parts are ready for shipment and meet required quality expectations.

What you'll do

• Prepare parts by grinding, sanding, cleaning, and masking
• mix paints, hardeners, and thinners
• apply liquid coatings using industrial spray equipment
• complete touch-ups
• clean and maintain painting equipment
• move and stage materials
• package finished parts for shipment
• maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
