Lead Handyman / Home Service Technician

The Lead Handyman / Home Service Technician role is onsite in Austin, TX, with travel to multiple job sites daily. Compensation is not specified. TruBlue Home Service Ally provides handyman repairs, home maintenance, and senior-safety modifications; the Austin franchise is launching and this is its first lead handyman hire. The technician performs residential repair projects, represents the business in customers’ homes, and supports scheduling, materials, and quality control. As the team grows, the lead will mentor new technicians and help establish the service operation.

What you'll do

• Perform residential home repair projects
• communicate respectfully with customers
• provide onsite estimates when appropriate
• support scheduling input, materials, and quality control
• document work with photos and paperwork
• mentor new technicians as the team grows
• complete projects such as repairs and upgrades across carpentry, flooring, painting, plumbing, electrical, tile, doors, windows, decks, and senior-safety modifications.
