Procurement Specialist III

What you'll do

• Purchase items and services, verify authorizations, process paperwork, and expedite orders
• obtain quotes and source suppliers
• maintain approved-supplier compliance and supplier relationships
• generate purchase orders through the MRP system
• plan and track materials
• maintain reorder levels and the master materials plan
• coordinate with production, quality control, facilities, and warehouse
• mentor junior purchasing employees
• lead strategic sourcing initiatives.
