Quality Technician, 1st Shift is an onsite role in Salem, VA, with an hourly pay range of $21 to $23. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with additional overtime as needed. KIK Consumer Products makes products that help consumers clean, sanitize, and protect their homes and pools. The technician tests raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods, then documents and communicates results to support product quality. The role also maintains laboratory equipment and sample records and assists with investigations and production quality checks.

What you'll do

• Perform analytical tests, including titrations and wet chemistry
• test raw materials and finished products for physical and chemical properties
• document results and communicate out-of-spec conditions
• maintain sample retains
• keep the laboratory organized and track supplies
• perform routine instrument checks and basic calibrations
• support investigations and root-cause analysis
• audit in-process inspections and escalate quality events
• follow laboratory and plant safety programs.
